It’s been a busy year so far! I’ve barely had time to stop and catch my breath from Christmas, and we are knocking on the door to Easter! They say time flies when you are having fun, so I must be a non-stop party!
Autumn is starting to show, in both the menu and the changeable weather patterns, and Kate’s belly warming recipes are sure to help you tough out the cooler nights, from now and through to spring.
On Your Plate’s email system has taken a battering in the last couple of weeks, with customer enquiries, new customers, and general customer service queries, and is at the point where Kate and I are struggling to keep up. In response to this, we have decided to bring one of our part time box assembling gurus on full time to help! Bex started with us, just after our launch and was our first employee! She has been instrumental in helping to get the process line working efficiently, whilst ensuring as few mistakes as possible. She also helps co-ordinate the delivery drivers, and does the Haumoana/Havelock North delivery run, in the OYP van. Bringing Bex on will free Kate up to get back to her creative side and develop some more amazing meals, and allow me to focus on ensuring the quality and freshness of the ingredients. I’m looking forward to having the help!
This week’s menu is chock full of hearty meals that are sure to satisfy. It’s nearly time to pack away the BBQ, (unless you’re a brave soul), and bring the cooking indoors, and crank up the crock pot and oven.
